It's English Wine Week, and we're celebrating in fine style with a delectable lunch menu, based around some of the best local ingredients of the season, with our suggestions for some perfect English wine pairings from our cellar.
English wines have gained well-deserved recognition for their freshness, complexity and elegant style. Thanks to our cool maritime climate, grapes ripen gradually, resulting in wines with bright acidity, balanced flavours and naturally lower alcohol levels. From pioneering sparkling wines to expressive still wines, English winemakers continue to showcase the very best of their craft. Complemented by dishes created by our award-winning chefs, each pairing offers a memorable taste of the English countryside and a perfect way to celebrate English Wine Week.
