Getting Here by Road

The Two Bridges Hotel is located in the heart of Dartmoor, but we're very easy to find!

From Plymouth

Take the A386 signed towards Tavistock. At Yelverton, take the B3212 signed towards Princetown.  Pass through Princetown, remaining on the B3212.  At a T-junction with the B3357, turn right and you will see the Two Bridges Hotel immediately on your right hand side.

From Exeter and the M5

If you are coming from the Exeter direction, take the A38 signed towards Plymouth.  Leave the A38 at Ashburton (signed for Two Bridges), and join the B3352 and then the B3357 (again signed for Two Bridges).  This picturesque route will take you through the Dartmoor villages of Poundsgate and Dartmeet.  Stay on the B3357, and approximately 4 miles after passing through Dartmeet you will find the Two Bridges Hotel clearly signed on your left hand side.

From Cornwall and the A30

Leave the A30 at the Whiddon Down junction (midway between Okehampton and Exeter), signed for the A382 and Moretonhampstead.  Join the A382, and upon reaching Moretonhampstead join the B3212 signed Princetown.  This scenic route will take you through the pretty Dartmoor village of Postbridge.  Around 4 miles after Postbridge, you will reach a T-junction with the B3357.  Turn right, and you’ll see the Two Bridges Hotel immediately on your left hand side.

Car Parking

Car parking is free for hotel guests and customers.

Parking for other car park users (subject to availability) is charged at £5 per day, refundable against a spend of £15 or more on food and drink.

Getting Here by Public Transport

By Rail

Our nearest mainline rail stations are Plymouth and Exeter St Davids (both are a 45-50 minute cab ride). If you are coming by train from London Paddington, Bristol, South Wales, the Midlands or the North of England, we would suggest that you take the train as far as Exeter, and taxi from there. If you are coming from Cornwall, take the train to Plymouth, and taxi from there.

By Air

Exeter Airport is around an hour away, and offers fast and frequent flights from cities in the UK, Ireland, Channel Islands and mainland Europe. Bristol Airport offers a comprehensive range of UK and international flights, including worldwide connections via Amsterdam. If you are arriving into Bristol Airport, we would recommend hiring a car for your onward journey to Two Bridges (approximately 2 hours).

There are a number of local taxi operators, and it's best to pre-order your taxi. We would be pleased to assist with contact numbers for local taxi services.
