Dartmoor National Park is celebrating a significant anniversary in 2026, marking 75 years since its official designation on the 30th October 1951.

We invite you to join us in celebrating the majesty of Dartmoor, with our midweek escape designed for walkers, fresh air seekers, and lovers of wide-open spaces. 

Day One - Arrival

Arrive at the Two Bridges Hotel and settle in (your room will be available from 3pm).

Receive your complimentary Dartmoor walking maps at check-in 

Take our suggested short walk this afternoon (1-2 hours), just right for stretching your legs. Take time to find your bearings, and spot ancient clapper bridges, rugged Darmoor tors, and wide open moorland views.

You can look forward to a superb dinner in our award-winning restaurant this evening, showcasing come of the best local ingredients of the season, before relaxing in our welcoming lounges while you look forward to another Dartmoor day ahead tomorrow.

Day Two

Our hearty Dartmoor Breakfast will set you up for a day of Dartmoor adventures.

Collect your pre-ordered packed lunch after breakfast, and take your pick from our recommended walks for today:

Wistman’s Wood - iconic ancient woodland and granite tors 

Postbridge to Bellever Forest - classic Dartmoor landscapes 

Princetown and South Hessary Tor - panoramic moorland views

Whichever route you choose, you'll have one of our handy walking maps to guide you along the way, as you experience some of Dartmoor's most treasured places (and our delicious packed lunch to look forward to!).

Return to the hotel at your leisure, and look forward to another delicious dinner. Spend the evening relaxing and unwinding after your day of Dartmoor exploration.

Day Three

Take your time over your delicious Dartmoor Breakfast. 

We'll be sorry to see you go. Perhaps you'll have time for a short walk before heading for home (or maybe we'll tempt you to stay another night!).

Two nights accommodation (choose a comfy country-style room, or treat yourselves to a characterful Historic room or a truly indulgent Premier room).

Dinner each evening (with an allowance of up to £40 per person towards our full evening menu).

Full Dartmoor Breakfast each morning.
