Dartmoor Brewery - Beer with Altitude

Sister-company to Two Bridges Hotel and The Bedford Hotel is Princetown-based Dartmoor Brewery. At the heart of Dartmoor National Park, Dartmoor Brewery is England’s highest brewery situated at 1,465ft above sea level.

The team at Dartmoor Brewery are passionate about brewing top quality real ales using the finest local ingredients, and take huge pride in their links with the local community and the beautiful Dartmoor environment.

The famous Jail Ale is the brewery’s original beer, and is available on draught at Two Bridges. A full-bodied, deep golden brown beer, Jail Ale has a well-rounded flavour and a rich, moreish aftertaste.  The name of course comes from the brewery’s proximity to Dartmoor Prison!

Dartmoor IPA, also available at Two Bridges, is a lighter, golden-coloured beer, brewed with a unique blend of English hops that combine to create a superb spicy apple and citrus fruit flavour.

Legend is a classic cask-conditioned beer – smooth, full-flavoured and balanced, with a crispy malt fruit finish.  It has a hint of spice, and an enticing aroma of fresh-baked bread!

The latest addition to the stable is the superb Dartmoor Zero - all of the flavour, minus the alcohol.
