You'll find a full programme of walking tours from July to September, with a choice of topics including an introduction to the town's heritage, a fascinating insight into Tavistock's rich industrial heritage, and a chance to find out more about the history of Tavistock's railways.

All walks begin at 2pm from the Visitor Centre in Guildhall Square, with the exception of Tavistock by Twilight which begins at 7:30pm.
Suitable footwear and outer clothing should be worn, and it's advisable to bring something to drink.
Lunches and refreshments are available to order at our sister hotel, The Bedford Hotel, a stone's throw from Guildhall Square.

The walks are bookable via the Tavistock Heritage Trust Website, at a cost of £5 per person.
