There's still time to book a last-minute escape this autumn half term - and the children (or grandchildren!) can stay free of charge.

Set right in the heart of Dartmoor National Park, the Two Bridges Hotel is the perfect base for an autumn family adventure. Wrap up warm and step out into miles of open moorland, explore woodland trails beneath the changing leaves, wander beside tumbling rivers, or simply enjoy the fresh Dartmoor air together.

Follow one of Dartmoor’s many family-friendly trails, pull on your wellies for an autumn walk, or head out to discover some of Devon’s favourite family attractions. With plenty to see and do, there’s every excuse to make the most of half term together.

However you choose to spend your days, you’ll return to a comfortable room for a peaceful night’s sleep, along with delicious Devon dining and something to satisfy hungry explorers of every age.

Stay between 12th and 31st October 2026 and one child stays free of charge including a full breakfast for each paying adult.

The youngsters are sure to enjoy exploring our beautiful Dartmoor gardens, and of course there are wonderful family-friendly walks to enjoy from our doorstep (with handy walking guides available to point you in the right direction).

For your perfect day out on Dartmoor, or a trip down to Devon's iconic coastline, we have packed lunches available to order, and if you're planning a drive out in your electric vehicle, we have handy charging facilities on site.

Naturally we welcome four-legged family members too, with dog-friendly rooms available on request at a small additional charge.
